Compressed Earth Blocks
Industrially manufactured clay (unburnt) brick, stabilised.
- Ingredients:
- Natural sands, loam without other additives, cement.
- Application:
- Stabilised CEB 101 clay bricks are designed for single-layer external bearing as well as non-bearing masonry with a thickness of 40 cm with high demands on thermal resistance and thermal accumulation capacities of the wall.
The Physical Properties of Compressed Earth Blocks:
- Specific gravity (r): 2000kg/m3
- Warmth-conduction coefficient (I): 1,13 W/(K.m)
- Warmth-resistance wall of 40 cm (R): 0,35 K/W
- Warmth-accumulation capacity
- (A massive wall of 40 cm thickness gives a thermic reduction of 10% and a delay ca. 10 hours)
- (Cw) 2000 KJ/m3 kl
- Damp-diffusion (m): <10
The Mechanical Properties of Compressed Earth Blocks
- Dimensions: 29,5 x 14 x 9 (cm)
- Weight: 7,5 kg
- Number of blocks per m2: 35 pcs
- Compressive strength (s): 8,3 MPa
- Sound insulation of 40 cm wall: 56 dB
Industrially manufactured clay (unburnt) brick, non-stabilised.
- Ingredients:
- Natural sands, loam without other additives.
- Application:
- Non-stabilised CEB 102 clay bricks are used for plastered non-bearing masonry of internal partition walls with a thickness of 140 mm. They can be used also as a reception wall in connection with thermal insulation for the external protective part of the layered masonry.
